The recently published "12th Five-Year Plan for Development of China's Security Industry" is a new opportunity for the development of the security industry. The plan proposes that by the end of the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan”, it is necessary to achieve the overall goal of doubling the scale of the security industry, with an annual growth rate of about 20%; in 2015, the total output value will reach 500 billion yuan, and an added value of 160 billion yuan will be realized. The delivery value reached more than 60 billion yuan; the industrial structure adjustment achieved initial success, and the proportion of security operations and various service industries reached more than 20%.

Many people in the industry stated that this plan has injected a strong driving force for security. What is more characteristic is that the most fundamental purpose of security measures, whether it is public service or personal and home life, is service. Those who participated in the drafting of the plan revealed that in addition to the rapid development of security products and projects in the next five years, the security operation and service industry will usher in greater development, even exceeding the growth rate of security products and projects. It can be predicted that in the next five years, the security industry is bound to usher in a period of rapid development.
