Carburizing treatment of 1cr13 and 2cr13

Cr12 is a Leysite steel with high strength and good wear resistance, but it is inferior. However, with 2cr13 carburizing, it can achieve the wear resistance of Cr12 and has certain arbitrariness. It can replace Cr12 and solve the problem of poor Cr12. However, 1cr13 or 2cr13 has a passivation film, so depassivation film treatment is required before carburizing.
2cr13 is air-cooled after austenitizing carburization at 930 degrees Celsius for 6 hours, then reheated to 980 degrees oil-cooled quenching, tempered at 200 degrees Celsius for 3 hours. After the above treatment, the layer has obvious reticulated carbonization in addition to granular carbide. This is the shape of the carbide that is very prone to carburization after chrome steel carburization.
The following two methods improve:
1 Prior to carburizing or carbonitriding, the carbides in 2cr13 steel are spheroidized to be evenly and finely distributed throughout the ferrite matrix as a preparatory structure for pre-carburizing or carbonitriding.
2 Before carburizing or carbonitriding, pre-exuding at 830 for 1-3 hours and then heating carburizing or carbonitriding. The newly formed ultra-microscopic carbide core can also be used as the granular carbonization of the infiltration layer. The core of the object grows up. The above two measures will improve the formation and distribution of carbides in the 2cr13 stainless steel layer.
