The “Blue Sky Award†is an international award initiated by China and co-sponsored by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the China International Economic and Technological Exchange Center of the Ministry of Commerce. The purpose is to guide the application of renewable energy in large-scale applications in various countries in the world to ease conventional energy sources. It is understood that Chen Hanping team this technology is the first domestic and foreign. Biomass pyrolysis and co-production refers to the equipment's processing and treatment of agricultural and forestry wastes such as straw and trees, as well as the production of gas, charcoal and tar to achieve full utilization of biomass and thus to “dry up†the waste. The carbon, gas and oil yields are all above 25%, the char yield is over 35%, and the heat output is above 20MJ/kg. At present, using this technology, more than 20 projects have been built in thousands of households in Hubei Ezhou and other places.
The “Blue Sky Award†selection activity has been held for four times. The 38 winning technologies and over 40 nominated technologies selected have been effectively applied in the industry. This "Blue Sky Award" selected 22 candidate candidates for the "Blue Sky Award" from the United States, France, Norway, China and other countries through international authoritative experts, and finally won 10 awards.
