ã€Abstract】 This paper introduces the test process of continuously welding thin-walled H-beams with two sets of 60kW and 400kHz solid-state high-frequency power sources. The test uses a 2mm thick ordinary strip steel, which is welded by asymmetric and symmetrical methods. Finally, it is concluded that the symmetrical welding process is suitable for thin-walled H-beam welding.
1 Overview
H-shaped steel consists of upper wing, web and lower wing, as shown in Figure 1. The upper wing plate and the web are heated and welded by a solid high-frequency power source, and the lower wing plate and the web are heated and welded by another solid-state high-frequency power source, and the two machines work simultaneously and continuously.
The dimensions of the thin-walled H-beam are shown in Figure 2. For the test contact welding, the contact welding head is shown in Figure 3.
The contact is pure copper 20mm×8mm, the contact surface is 160mm 2 , the cylinder inner diameter is 30mm, the area is 700mm 2 , the air compressor pressure is 2kg/cm 2 , the contact and strip pressure is 7cm 2 ×2kg/cm 2 = 140N·m.
