Reducer inspection and maintenance:

It is forbidden to mix different lubricants. The position of the oil level plug, oil drain plug and ventilator is determined by the installation location. Their relative position can be determined by referring to the installation position diagram of the reducer.

1. Inspection of oil level

Turn off the power to prevent electric shock! Wait for the reducer to cool down!

Remove the oil level plug and check that the oil is full.

Install the oil level plug.

2. Inspection of oil

Turn off the power to prevent electric shock! Wait for the reducer to cool down!

Open the oil drain plug and take an oil sample.

Check oil viscosity index

——If the oil is obviously turbid, it is recommended to replace it as soon as possible.

For reducers with oil level plugs

——Check the oil level, whether it is qualified

——Install oil level screw plug

3. Oil replacement

After cooling, the viscosity of the oil increases and it is difficult to drain the oil. The reducer should be changed at the operating temperature.

Turn off the power to prevent electric shock! Wait for the reducer to cool down without danger of burning!

Note: The reducer should remain warm when changing oil.

Place an oil drain pan under the oil drain plug.

Open the oil level plug, breather and drain plug.

Remove all oil.

Install the oil drain plug.

Inject new oil of the same brand.

The amount of oil should be consistent with the installation location.

Check the oil level at the oil level plug.

Tighten the oil level plug and breather.
