Japanese Prime Minister Naoto Kan is expected to publish a policy of promoting clean energy, intending to realize the installation of solar panels to all new buildings by 2030.
According to reports on the 22nd, Naoto Kan is scheduled to release this policy during the G8 Summit in Deauville, France, on May 26th and 27th, aiming to promote the popularization of clean and safe energy while encouraging technological innovation.
The report said that Japan was hit by an earthquake and tsunami on March 11 and triggered a serious radiation leak at the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant.
