More and more developers require post-evaluation work. The power generation indicator of wind turbines is one of the important indicators in the process of post-evaluation of wind farm operations. Since the amount of power generation is closely related to wind energy resources, and wind power is randomly changed and cannot be predicted, it is difficult to evaluate the power generation capacity index.
There are mainly the following reasons for the deviation before and after the power generation:
(1) Wind measuring tower. If the wind measuring tower used in the feasibility study stage is not representative, the wind measuring time is different, the wind measuring instrument is aged, and the calibration is not performed, the accuracy of the wind measurement data will be affected, and the power generation will be affected. From the feasibility study stage to the actual operation, it takes at least 1 to 3 years, so the wind measurement period and instrument problems cannot be eliminated.
(2) Models. If the model recommended during the feasibility study stage is not the wind turbine model determined by the final tender of the owner, the power curve of each model will have a direct impact on the power generation results.
(3) Fan distribution. In the feasibility study stage, the fan layout is based on the point optimization software, and after appropriate manual adjustment and taking into consideration the safety distances from villages, roads, rivers, and lines, the wake flow is controlled under 8%; the actual operation stage The location of the fans is at the micro site selection stage, where each station conducts field visits to calculate the amount of power generated, and the final seats that meet the site conditions are obtained. Differences in fan layout can have a direct effect on the amount of power generated. Because there is a sequential sequence between the feasibility study and the actual operation stage, the difference in the amount of power generation caused by the fan layout cannot be eliminated.
(4) Shutdown. If wind turbines in wind farms cause downtime due to faults, special meteorological conditions, force majeure, reasonable routine maintenance time, and misoperation stoppage, they will have a direct impact on power generation.
(5) Discard the wind. At present, due to the relative lag in power grid construction, wind farms have limited load in many regions, and the abandonment caused by limited load has a direct impact on power generation.
(6) Software calculation accuracy. The recognized flat power generation software in the industry is WAsP, and the complex terrain is CFD software. The accuracy of software calculations will have a certain impact on the power generation results, and this difference cannot be eliminated.
(7) Selection of reduction factor. During the feasibility study stage, the theoretical power generation per wind turbine calculated by the software was reduced by the amount of power generated by the grid. The selection of the reduction factor has a direct impact on the amount of power generated by the grid.
