Central enterprises’ profit growth slowed in July
Following the release by the Ministry of Finance of the economic indicators of the state-owned enterprises in July, the SASAC announced yesterday that the operating data of the 123 state-owned enterprises that performed the responsibilities of the investor were collected from January to July. From January to July, the total operating income of central SOEs was 914.51 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 42.4%; the accumulated profits were 618.86 billion yuan, an increase of 54.3% year-on-year; the total amount of taxes paid was 791.91 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 25.1%.
