Reuters reported on October 12 in Oslo that the Norwegian National Petroleum Council (NPD) announced here today that preliminary oil and natural gas production figures for September in Norway showed that Norway’s oil and gas production in September showed a fall both in comparison.
According to statistics, Norway’s oil production in September fell from 1,623,000 barrels in August to 1,557,000 barrels per day.
Norway's daily production of natural gas liquids and condensate in September fell from 375,000 barrels in August to 335,000 barrels.
Natural gas production in Norway in September fell from 7.9 billion standard cubic meters in August to 7.4 billion standard cubic meters.
Statoil is Norway's largest oil and gas production company.
