The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) has updated the IEC 60745 series of handheld power tools, involving electric drills and impact drills, screwdrivers and impact wrenches, non-disc sanders and polishers, rotary hammers, electric scissors and electric punching shears, reciprocating Saw (Jigsaw, Knife Saw), Concrete Vibrator, Band Saw 8 categories of products. It is reported that the European EN standards corresponding to the IEC series of standards have also been finalized and will be released soon. EU countries will soon convert them to national mandatory standards.
